A Constructed World

A Constucted World will come to give a workshop on a subject of their choice.

‘A Constructed World is the collaborative project of Geoff Lowe and Jacqueline Riva. They make installations incorporating events, performance, video, painting, drawing and printed material. ACW also use speech, conversation, not-knowing, live eels, dancing and absences as their media.

Recent events include ‘A Constructed World Medicine Show’, at Paola Pivi’s GRRR JAMMING SQUEEK, Sculpture International Rotterdam, ‘Hobbes Opera part 2’ at La Garenne Lemot, ‘The Speakeasy Medicine Show’, Biennale de Belleville, Paris, ‘One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show’, Club 21 Remaking the Scene, One Marylebone, London, ‘Melbourne Flottante’, Y3K Gallery, Melbourne, ‘Ex- plaining contemporary art to live eels #6’, Villa Arson, Nice.

They have had solo exhibitions at CAPC musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux, CNEAI (Centre national de l’estampe et de l’art imprimé), Chatou, ACCA (Australian Centre for Contemporary Art), Melbourne and MCA Sydney.
