We host clear skies and empty spaces full of air.
What interests us is that air holds between necessity and emptiness.
We mean, Air is a necessity for life but also represents a fear in the collective mind.
It is everywhere but invisible and ungraspable and sometimes tangible.
The condition of being a hostess, which is a more social engagement, makes us deal with emptiness on an existential level. As we have no passengers but air, we’re most of the time bored. Sometimes rebelling against the boredom by carrying small objects, but always in a duty free style.
