GLUE
with Mike Moonen at Kate Artspace Amsterdam
Corresponding to the collective practice of Dirty Art Department Alumni Mike Moonen, where both the ideas of the never ending band and the backstage have become metaphors for new collective ways of being in the mess, the workshop GLUE asks us to find both individual and collective ways to come together finishing in a public exhibition and performance program at the Kate artspace in Amsterdam. Mike says:
´We dive into (or out) Kate with a mission to blend in 11 big handpainted theater backdrop banners. The challenge of the workshop is to bring together different practices and find a collective way of presenting whatever edit, wall, treasure hunt or performance rolls out of it.
