Group Exhibition at Indebt
Far from being the hell that moralists would ascribe to it, the underworld could be seen as a place that puts the present on hold and gives the space for the free roam of desires and dreams. From rituals in prehistoric caves, makeshift cellars of resistance, back street garage workshops, dens of libidinous desires and the pulsating darkness of nightclubs, it is perhaps the necessary space that allows a starting from scratch, a regeneration in the eternal illicit, a life after afterlife, and a place to give birth to total other realities.
From Mark Fischer's 'Acid Communism' to Frantz Fanon's 'Universalism in the Void', where he posited that when the reality is so unacceptable it is necessary to make a break with it and to go underground and reconfigure from the beginning, the underground is also the new collective caldron, the place to enhance the spices and make a new radical mix totally unknown.
