Vesipääs, 2025. Narva, Estonia.
Narva Art Residency
Performative guided tour
Duration: 60’
Vesipääs (2025) was conceived as a performative guided tour through the liminal waterscapes of Kulgu, Narva (EE). Inspired by the Estonian term meaning “access to water”, the project explored the physical and mythical thresholds where land dissolves into water. Participants, equipped with sensory deprivation masks incorporating headphones, travelled on foot and by boat through a territory between the real and the fictional, guided by a soundscape based on Estonian folklore. The work culminated in a public screening of the performance, which was shown on a floating screen on the Narva River.
