Workshop #2 Purge Pot

    27.10 - 5.11.2026 Workshop

    Purge Pot

with Anna Reutinger and Junghun Kim

PURGE POT will focus on the creation of grotesque monsters to act as warning signs and counters to forces that oppress and divide us. We will begin with a small lecture on monsters and their function as cultural red flags and figures of disobedience.

You are asked to work in small groups to illustrate, perform, sculpt, puppeteer, stitch, paint, carve, sing, dance, narrate, film etc. a monster with a symbolic function of your choice. All works will be presented on the 5th of November in FL101. We will focus on a thinking-through-making approach that is based on action without hesitation, and trusting in your gut. This workshop is also about how to collaborate, to become a multi-headed beast, to brew ideas together and produce separate parts to make a whole.

The workshop will include an artist talk and group meetings with Junghun Kim.
